Music at the Laimer Alm
for more than 40 years

Since the 60s the Laimer Alm has been the musical focal point in the Salzkammergut Lake District, nowhere else have so many musical events been held on a regular basis over such a long period of time. Whole books could be filled with the memories and amusing anecdotes that the Laimer Family have experienced through the years. The family's musical tradition is deeply rooted in folk music. It all started with the Laimer grandparents who, in their day, were celebrated musicians and singers.

Their love of music has been handed down from generation to generation and we have always endeavoured to develop our skills, never being afraid to try out something new. Our wide repertoire of music at the very highest level includes everything from folk songs to rock'n'roll – always live – that's why “Die Laimer” are famous well beyond the county borders. It is important to us that we not only treat our guests to the very best as far as music is concerned but also when it comes to our meals, that's why we ask you to book in advance.
